The reality star, who shares two children with Gutierrez, was involved in a fatal ATV accident on February 28 in Boone, North Carolina.
According to Garinger’s mother, Mary Hobbs, the accident occurred while he was moving the ATV from one parking spot to another in front of their home.
Due to heavy rain and mud, the ground gave way as he pulled in front of her to park the ATV, causing it to flip and crush his skull.
Hobbs tried to seek assistance from neighbors to lift the ATV off him, but unfortunately, no one answered.
When she returned, it became evident that Garinger had not survived. Hobbs stayed by his side until the ambulance arrived on the scene.
Mary Hobbs expressed the profound impact of her son’s passing, stating that a significant part of her heart died with Sean on the tragic Wednesday.
