His brother, Ryan, also followed in their father’s footsteps, serving in the esteemed 2 PARA regiment.

Born in the city of York, Jordan North has strong ties to his Burnley and Preston roots, where he spent part of his childhood.

The family also lived in Ireland for a period, as Graham was stationed there during his military service.

However, their time in Ireland was marked by a harrowing experience when they narrowly escaped the Omagh bomb attack in 1998.

Jordan vividly remembers the trauma of that day, emphasizing the impact it had on him and his family.

Jordan North’s Journey

Jordan North is a well-known name in the world of broadcasting and is loved by many for his charm and quick wit.

His journey to success began with a passion for media production, which he pursued at the University of Sunderland, graduating with First Class honors in 2011.

Following his graduation, Jordan embarked on a career in radio, landing a role at BBC Radio 1, where he would spend the next decade sharpening his craft.

Starting as a weekend presenter, Jordan quickly made a name for himself with his engaging personality and relatable style.

He eventually earned a spot as the co-host of the drivetime show, where he endeared himself to listeners with his lively banter and entertaining segments.
