Then, in 2014, she started to pursue a specialization in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) at Kaiser in  Vallejo.

While working there, she met her now-husband, Aaron. She later moved to Central Coast, where she returned to orthopedic physical therapy with an emphasis on Pilates.

Moreover, after her horror story was highlighted in the Netflix Docuseries, American Nightmare she wrote a book about it named Victim F: Victim to Suspects to Survivors.
