Taylor has been recently in the news due to her serious health issues, and doctors found a mass on her brain following a CAT scan.
Luckily, doctors believe it isn’t a cancer, but they are still conducting tests. She is recovering at her home surrounded by her family, and Johnny explains,
Some of it was bleeding, that was causing the numbing part. Saying this, we’ve had her with a great neurology team, a group of doctors, and they don’t think its the C-word, so that’s a good thing. But they’re still doing a lot of testing, and we’re not out of the woods yet, but we’re in a lot better position than we thought we were in the beginning.
He revealed the tragic news through social media on September 26, and his daughter was treated at an emergency room after experiencing a numbing feeling on her right side.
He thanked his fans for praying for his youngest daughter and the rest of the family.
Taylor meant the world to Johnny, and he canceled his performance in Alaska, followed by four more cancellations of September concerts in Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico to be with his daughter.
She had been diagnosed with a cavernoma, a cluster of abnormal blood vessels found usually in the spinal cord and brain, and the Van Zant had a long way to go.
Nonetheless, Johnny lost her daughter, Lindsay, after fighting a rare form of cancer in January 2018.
