John Passidomo, husband of Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo, passed away on Wednesday after sustaining injuries while hiking along a Utah trail.
The Passidomo couple was reportedly hiking together on Monday when John fell and sustained serious head injuries. He was airlifted to a regional trauma center.
In the trauma center, an experienced medical professional team, after 24 hours of intensive medical care, told his family that Mr. Passidomo would not survive.

Passidomo was a certified real estate lawyer who specialized in real estate development, transactions, and zoning and land use.
The White Plains native held the position of president of the Collier County Bar Association in 1987 and chaired the Real Estate Attorneys section for two years.
