Randy Shepherd passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was diagnosed just six months ago, and he had been filled with hope about his health, believing he was on the path to recovery before tragically succumbing to complications.

On July 31st, he shared a hopeful update on social media, announcing his surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, to replace two heart valves.
He expressed his faith, writing,
“Jesus is the Great Physician. I thank God for a Christian surgeon, Dr. Juan Crestanello.”
Following the successful surgery, Shephard continued to show his trust in God, posting,
“Thank the Lord Jesus! The war is not over yet! Dr. Crestanello said the surgery went great. Please continue to pray for recovery, rehab, and total healing!”
He even shared the touching moment of leading a nurse to faith in Christ during his recovery.
Despite the hopeful progress he had been making, the evangelist’s passing came as a shock due to unexpected complications after his surgery.
His passing has created a deep emptiness in the hearts of his loved ones.
